Michelle Deneau is a pioneer in People Analytics with over 20 years experience and was recognized as one of the Top 20 People Analytics Influencers in 2025.Throughout her career, Michelle has demonstrated a remarkable ability to drive organizational impact by rapidly maturing the People Analytics function, establishing data driven decision making as core to the HR function and expanding HR teams data savviness. She excels in telling compelling stories through analytics that drive action, creating strategic and pragmatic plans for enterprise-wide initiatives, leading large scale change efforts and building high performing teams. 

With a Masters of Science in Industrial Organizational Psychology paired with extensive training in data science, HR Technology and the emerging AI solutions, Michelle combines her technical expertise with a deep understanding of human behavior and organizational dynamics. 

Michelle is an Adjunct Professor at UC Santa Cruz and Santa Clara University teaching People Analytics - Delivering Business Impact and Intro to Industrial Organizational Psychology courses. She is also a frequent speaker at San Jose State University in the business school and graduate psychology school.
